Tamworth Conservation Commission

Easement Monitoring

The Tamworth Conservation Commission manages the conservation easements held by the Town.  One of the most important responsibilities is to monitor the easements to make sure that current landowners and neighbors are respecting the requirements of the easement.

To meet this responsibility, the Commission relies on volunteers - its members and others - as "easement monitors."   Once each year, these monitors contact the current landowner, collect any new information, and visit the property.  They write a short report, a copy of which is provided to the landowner and placed in the property's conservation easement file.

The documents on this page are used by the easement monitors.
