TCC manages several properties owned by the Town of Tamworth, as well as the Great Hill Fire Tower in Hemenway State Forest. It also helps establish - and provides stewardship for - conservation easements on privately-owned lands.
Trail Maps & Descriptions
The Commission maintains trails on many of its properties. These trails are designed for pedestrian use; motorized vehicles are not allowed. Volunteers maintain these trails, and the Commission holds trail work days a few times each year. Contact the Commission with trail maintenance suggestions and/or if you are interested in helping with trail work: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Note: Use of TCC lands and trails is at your own risk.
You can see current conditions from the
"TamCam" on the Great Hill Fire Tower.
Mailboxes near the start of each trail contain trail maps & descriptions. Please return them to the map boxes when you are done with them. You can also download them here:
